0129 Radiology Suite
We provided interior design services for this radiology suite at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. The suite was designed by BBLM Architects and we provided the interior finish palette for flooring, walls, laminate colors for millwork, furniture and upholstery. Here pattern and color were used to introduce a subtle way-finding element to the decoration of the suite. Apparently random floor patterning actually contains deliberate breaks that denote patient destinations in the circulation pattern. Patient patterns repeat in the gowned waiting and exam rooms reinforcing and confirming that you've arrived at the correct location in a sprawling suite.
